| Seafood Breader Cooking Instructions |
Breading
Heat 1 inch vegetable oil in skillet or oil as recommended in deep fat fryer to 350 F
Moisten fish or seafood with water; drain excess.
Pour breader mix into a plastic bag or on a plate. Roll or shake fish in mix until evenly coated.
Fry a few pieces at a time until golden brown.
Batter
To make a light crisp batter for fish, seafood, chicken, onion rings and other vegetables.
Heat 1 inch vegetable oil in skillet or oil as recommended in deep fat fryer to 350 F
Stir 3/4 cup of water into 1 cup of breader mix. (For thinner batter add more water).
Dip fish, seafood, chicken or vegetables into batter; drain excess.
Fry a few pieces at a time until golden brown.
Top Tip: For a thicker coating, after dipping in batter roll in dry breader mix before frying.
